Response to Intervention (RtI) practitioners do not wait for students to fail before diagnosing problems and prescribing interventions. The intervention team determines a student's learning discrepancy, offers interventions to remove the discrepancy, and uses curriculum-based measurement (CBM) to monitor the interventions' effectiveness. Seasoned practitioners will share their strategies for implementing RtI including: the intervention team's role and composition; CBM and testing probes to monitor progress; and, how online tools provide continuous, timely, and accurate student performance data.
